CI Mechanical Joint

CI Mechanical Joint also known as Cast Iron Mechanical Joint, is a type of joint used to connect two pieces of cast iron pipe in a pipeline system. The joint consists of a grooved socket on one end of the pipe, and a rubber gasket and locking ring on the other end. To connect the pipes, the grooved end of one pipe is inserted into the socket of the other pipe. A rubber gasket is placed in between the two pipes, and a locking ring is tightened around the gasket to create a tight and secure seal.
